pieWebphone – Multimedia Self-Service Terminal
The pieWebphone is a state-of-the-art multimedia customer self-service terminal and payphone combined. From its large touch screen interface customers can interact with hosted content and applications, or get full Internet access. It is available as part of a fully managed service offering from pieNetworks.
The pieWebphone can be fitted with pieWiFi Hotspot capability, which extends the value of the public internet access offering to customers with their own WiFi devices.
The large screen is perfect for interactive advertising and marketing messages and as part of a broader digital signage plot, with the capability for location specific promotions and offers controlled by pieNetworks back-end content management systems.
The pieWebphone can be deployed in a range of high traffic locations (airports, transport hubs, shopping centres, entertainment precincts) as a public telephony and internet access terminal. It can also be used to enhance a retail footprint as a virtual shopfront - providing touch screen access to customer self service information and applications.
